Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss, born in Decatur, Illinois on 23 July 1971, is a well-known and rich Country Singer. LeAnn Kymes and Alison Krauss were the two newest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass country singer and musician. Alison Maria Krauss started her career in music early, winning local competitions at the age of 10. Her first recording was her first time at age fourteen. After signing with Rounder Records, her first album debuted in 1987. She was then invited to join Alison Krauss Union Station, the band she currently performs with. Her first album in a group with this group came out in 1989.
