Angela Sun
Angela Sun was born in Santa Clara County, California on 19 October 1979. She is an American journalist and sportscaster. She is also a documentary film maker and television presenter. She graduated from University of California with a diploma in communications and sociology. Sun's surfing skills were outstanding and she was a part of several pro-am competitions. She was sponsored by major companies, including Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. Her career was initiated into entertainment because of the recognition she received. She later became an investigative film director and journalist as well as a sportscaster. Sun worked as an anchor on newscasts for a variety of channels. In 2003 she worked as an anchor on Fox Sports Net. She was host of American Ninja Warrior along with Matt Iseman in 2012. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute during 2014. She was the first Asian American person to be a part of ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports as well as Tennis Channel. Sun, who is an accomplished actress and was in numerous movies and has become famous for her skills. Sun has appeared in films such as Goliath 2016 (Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway (2009), Street Kings (2008), Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004 and Shackled. Sun's 2014 feature length documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a film about the negative effects of the plastic waste on oceans. She wrote, directed and produced the film herself.
