Lis Wiehl works as an American journalist and legal analyst who was formerly a Fox News analyst.
She is currently an adjunct law professor at New York Law School. In the past, she worked as an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She also has provided legal commentary for Bill O'Reilly's radio show as well as National Public Radio. She has a regular appearance for The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs Presently. The Imus breakfast shows. Legal Lis is the Legal Lis podcast and radio show.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, Washington, and was a graduate of West Valley High School in Yakima. She earned a bachelor's degree from Barnard College in 1983, she earned a master of Arts in Literature at the University of Queensland in 1985 as well as a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl is a former prosecutor of the US Attorney. She served as the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She was the principal investigating counsel to the Democrats of the House Judiciary Committee, during the impeachment of Clinton. The time she worked at University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 to 2001. She was the director of their Trial Advocacy Program. Between 2001 and 2017, Wiehl worked as a legal analyst for Fox News.
